SPRING 2024 Session: CompTIA Security+

The spring 2024 program prepares you to take the CompTIA Security+ certification exam. CompTIA Security+ establishes the core knowledge required of any cybersecurity role and provides a springboard to intermediate-level cybersecurity jobs. CompTIA Security+ validates the baseline skills necessary to perform core security functions and pursue an IT security career.

Students need to have a basic understanding of computer systems and network infrastructure either through previous classwork or job experience.

Two nights each week, you’ll learn from Ivy Tech Bloomington faculty. You’ll also meet regularly one-on-one with career coaches from Ivy+  Career Link to ensure your success. Participants will receive a part-time membership at The Mill, and those who successfully complete the program will receive a voucher to cover exam costs.
